Amazing experience. In the heart of old Leesburg, outstanding food and very friendly and attentive service. Definitely recommend the paella!
This spot is my favorite. I eat in plenty of restaurants but to this place I constantly return again and again. The crew is very helpful and the cuisine they serve is so yummy. I am always happy to have a decent meal in this restaurant. I recommend this place with pleasure.
The atmosphere inside is quite dark and murky, kind of colonial style. We went on a sunny day, so decided to sit outside, which was much better. We waited an hour for our food, which came out delicious, despite the mismatched rice (it said basmati on the menu, and we got whole grain). Overall the menu looked very tasty, however there's no guarantee you won't wait an hour yourself.
Outstanding place to eat, especially Sunday brunch. You order from the menu. Service is excellent. Mohamed and his wife make you feel so welcome. Best place to eat in Leesburg!
Ok so first time here for Valentines dinner. Food was excellent! The Chef, who also personally takes your order and serves you was a very nice. He made suggestions and having a Spanish speaking Venezuelan wife, it was nice to have him speak Spanish to her as well. Loved the place, price and portions were very good. Going again? Can't wait
THE place to eat in Leesburg! Great food, great decor, the owner is a polyglot and it makes you feel like you are visiting an old friend
The menu and service were above our expectations. I really liked the environment of this restaurant. Nice spot to take my family out for dinner.
The Paella and Shrimp and Scallop pasta were the best. Stuffed flounder was good too. The owner's run it like a nicer family restaurant; friendly and personalling checking our needs. Seems like a great place for it's quality and price point, because my experience with Paelle dishes are $70 or more with a big plate of it. Here the Paella was smaller, $32, and I think it tasted great. Also, the food here didn't feel heavy. The dishes were flavorful without overdoing it with salt and grease. I'd come here for a little fancyish date, and sit outside.
Delicious food and portions were huge. Very nice atmosphere and the antique furnishings were very cool.
What a treat! This was the most delicious, thoughtfully prepared meal my husband and I have shared in a long time. Chef Mohamed warmly welcomed us into his lovely restaurant and told us he would take care of us. Seated at an intimate corner window with a candle, we took his suggestions and then marveled at everything we were served - rich, creamy lobster ravioli, deep green spinach chicken soup with hints of nutmeg, a generous, nutty portion of baklava, and a bowl of pudding-like creme brûlée. Even the bread was worth the indulgence - wonderful fresh focaccia with garlic chive butter and tapenade. This is food lovingly created for delight and pure enjoyment. We are already making plans to return. Thank you Mohamed!
Awesome spot to eat some food when in a hurry. The service is efficient, rates are convenient, great mood. Highly recommended
Great Food. Loved the atmosphere.
Food was great, wonderful flavors. Service was remarkable, welcoming, kind- and just the right amount of attention (not too much and not too little, makes a big difference!). The atmosphere brings a since of nostalgia, the outside seating is also nice. The food presentation was not exciting but the taste was delicious!
Nothing that would make me come back again. My biggest complaint is that tables in the smaller room are too close to one another - like 10 inches apart - and there is no way to have a conversation. You can literally here what everyone is saying on the tables next to you. They don't have that setup because they don't have enough space, but because - I think - they are too lazy to cover spread out tables. Food is good but nothing special. Expect to spend ~$40 - $50 a person for food only, with dessert and drinks it is 25% more.
Really fabulous, totally from scratch cuisine, a welcoming smile and conversation from Lahlou and her chef husband, a chance to practice my French with them and a chef who was very willing to help me with my kidney dialysis food restrictions. And par-dessous le marche, the very best warm- from- the -oven homemade pecan pie I have ever tasted, served with vanilla ice cream and creme Chantilly! Bon appetit!
They just moved to 15 S. King St. Same great food and service
For 140 dollars it should have been better. My husbands steak was not cooked to request . My dish was full of inconsistent textures for beef tenderloin..some tender and slow cooked some tough as a shoe. Our appetizer was under cooked mushrooms scantily dressed with pulverized crab adorned with bottled thousand island dressing and a half cup of artisan spring mix for 15 dollars. The best part was the bread and wine. They weren't busy. We had reservations. The bathroom looks like trash. Not impressed . Won't be back.
Superb service and the cuisine is exquisite. One of our places in Leesburg.
I love this spot! They give great meals, they have a rich menu, The chef in that spot is an expert, I love very much eating all their dishes. The dishes are consistently of high class, the service towards the guests is agreeable. I visit often this place and I was never disappointed. I recommend it with no hesitation.
The food and the folks who run the place are fantastic - 10/10, would recommend.
